Here is that the actual story that barrel the state in late 50s & early 60s… Kamas Maneckshaw Nanavati, AN Indian officer, accustomed sleep in metropolis together with his English mate Sylvia and 2 kids. Sylvia entered into AN extra-marital affair with Nanavati's Friend Prem Ahuja and he or she needed to marry him once separation along with her husband. once Sylvia wanted Divorce, Nanavati refuses and that is once she reveals to him regarding her affair. Then, Nanavati born his mate and kids at a cinema and visited Prem Ahuja's workplace by carrying his Gun. As Ahuja wasn't there, He then visited his House and asked him if he can marry & take care of his kids. once Ahuja refused, Nanavati shot him thrice and given before the police. Known to be upright and flag-waving officer, Nanavati had the sympathies of the jury and declared him as not guilt. Prem Ahuja's sister Mamie Ahuja employed Ram Jetmalani, UN agency was a young attorney then, to help the Prosecution. The path court choose referred the refer the supreme court wherever Nanavati was sentenced to captivity. Nanavati stirred Supreme Court however he did not receive any relief. Bombay Governor Vijayalakshmi Pandit (PM Jawaharlal Nehru's Sister) received the mercy petition filed by Sindhi leader Bhai Pratap in March 1962. She has pardoned Nanavati and given directions to Ram Jetmalani to persuade Mamie Ahuja to approve it. Finally, Ram Jetmalani was thriving in doing therefore and he shot to fame. Nanavati shifted his base to North American nation once being pardoned in 1962. He lived there together with his mate and kids. He passed on to the great beyond within the year 2003. Sylvia remains alive. In 'Rustom', Akshay Kumar, Ileana and Esha Gupta are seen reprising the roles of Nanavati, Sylvia and Mamie Ahuja severally.
